About Fine Stitch

About our studio

We remodel and alter garments so they can be worn with confidence again. Every project starts with a careful look at fabric, construction, and fit.

Garment remodelling with care

Fine Stitch works with clothing that deserves a second life. From fit updates to full redesigns, we shape each project around the garment itself and the result you want to wear.

Our process is clear and practical. We review the item, discuss the concept, confirm the scope, and then complete the work with attention to finish and wearability.

Our story

A studio built around reuse

Built for people who value clothing for more than one season. We help reshape pieces that are loved, useful, or worth preserving.

Fine Stitch was created to support thoughtful tailoring and garment remodelling in Navi Mumbai. The focus has always been on practical alterations, considered redesigns, and careful handling of each piece.

We work with vintage garments, sentimental clothing, and items that need a new fit or a new form. When materials and construction allow, we also explore fabric reuse and accessory projects.

Every project is reviewed before work begins, so the scope is clear and the result stays aligned with the garment and the approved design.

Why Fine Stitch

What guides our work

Our work combines alteration skill with redesign thinking, so garments can be adjusted, refreshed, or reimagined with a practical finish.

ST

Clear process

We start with inspection and assessment before any final quote is confirmed. That keeps the work realistic and the scope transparent.

RC

Careful finishing

We match thread and trim where available, and we note care and pressing guidance so the finished garment is easier to maintain.

RD

Design-led remodelling

Redesign ideas are shaped by the fabric, seams, and condition of the original garment. That helps turn existing clothing into something new and wearable.

UP

Responsible reuse

We support upcycling projects that make better use of what is already there, especially for pieces with sentimental or vintage value.
